Agricultural and forestry machinery must perform reliably under some of the most demanding outdoor conditions on Earth: heavy dust, continuous vibration, extreme temperatures, and high-impact loads. During a large-scale farming operation across 10,000 hectares of farmland, a fleet of high-horsepower tractors and harvesters was deployed. These machines worked around the clock during planting and harvest seasons, processing thousands of tons of crops and timber. Toleng Hydraulics provided a variety of custom-designed cylinders for these agricultural and forestry machines, including lift cylinders, tilt cylinders, steering cylinders, and telescopic cylinders.

Lift Cylinder (Tractor Front Loader):

Technical Highlights:

250 mm The large-bore lift cylinders on heavy forestry log loaders are designed to handle extreme shock loads during timber handling. Operating at up to 25 MPa, they generate lifting forces exceeding 120 kN, enabling the machine to handle massive logs in rugged terrain.

All cylinders feature heavy-duty sealing systems designed to withstand extreme abrasion from soil, dust, and wood debris, while maintaining stable performance in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C.

Integrated magnetostrictive displacement sensors provide real-time position feedback with ±0.5 mm accuracy, enabling precise automated control for precision farming applications such as seeding depth and header height adjustment.
